RESOLUTIONS.
No. 31.

Resolution authorising the Treasurer of the Western
Shore to pay to George Ireland, the sum of two
hundred and fifty dollars.
WHEREAS, by the act of seventeen hundred and
eighty eight, chapter forty four, George Ireland, an
officer in the revolutionary war, or his legal represen-
tatives, are entitled to two hundred acres of land in
Allegany county; and whereas, a warrant fur said
land was issued, under a resolution of the General
Assembly, and the surveyor of Allegany county re-
turned that there was no vacant land; — Therefore,
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore, be, and he is
hereby directed to pay to the legal representatives of
George Ireland, or their order, the sum of two hun-
dred and fifty dollars, out of any unappropriated
money in the Treasury.

Resolution authorising the Commissioners of Harford
county, to refund to the Orphans' Court of said
county, certain school money.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Commissioners of Harford county, be, and they
are hereby directed to refund to the Orphans' Court of
said county, so much of the sum of one hundred dol-
lars, appropriated last year, out of the said, county's
school money, for the per diem of school commission-
ers, as was more than sufficient, to cover the actual ex-
penditure on that account in said year; and the said
Orphans' Court are hereby authorised, at their discre-
tion, to use said balance towards paying for the publi-
cation, made, or to be made, of the school act and sup-
lement thereto, and of such advertisements as said
school law requires to be printed from time to time.
And be it further Resolved, That all orders drawn
on said Orphans' Court, by the school commissioners
