Resolution directing the Treasurer of the Western
Shore, to pay to the Directors of the Maryland
Penitentiary, the sum of thirty thousand dollars.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore of Maryland,
pay to the Directors of the Maryland Penitentiary, or
their order, the sum of thirty thousand dollars, in three
equal annual payments, from and after the passage of
this resolution, to be by them applied for the benefit
and use of said Penitentiary; provided, the said Direc-
tors, shall, whenever their situation will permit, re-
sume their payments into the Treasury, as now requi-
red by law.

Resolution authorising the Treasurer of the Western
Shore, to pay to Joseph Ennalls, the sum of one
thousand dollars, &c.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to Joseph En-
nalls, of Dorchester county, of this State, in full of all
claims which said Ennalls, may have against this
State, under the Act of Assembly, passed December
session eighteen hundred and thirty five, chapter two
hundred and thirty three, the sum of one thousand dol-
lars, with interest from the twenty third of February,
eighteen hundred and thirty eight, until paid.
