and the same are hereby repealed, but it shall be the
duty of the said Register to preserve and file the same
in his office, among the papers relating to the school
funds of said county.

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty
of the several boards of district commissioners, to re-
turn as directed by the seventh section of the act
of eighteen hundred and thirty-four, chapter two hun-
dred and twelve, a full report of their proceedings at.
the December session of the Orphan's Court, instead
of June as directed.

Sec. 5. And be it enacted, That the second section
of the act of eighteen hundred and thirty seven, chap-
ter two hundred and eighty-nine, and all other acts, or
parts of acts, inconsistent with this act, be, and the
same are hereby repealed.

An act to amend the Constitution and form of Govern-
ment of the State, limiting the future sessions of the
General Assembly.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That all future Session of the General As-
sembly of this State, shall close on the tenth day of
March, in each and every year, unless the same shall
be closed at an earlier day, by the agreement of the
two houses.
|

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That if this act shall be
confirmed by the General Assembly, at its first session
after the next election of delegates to the General As-
sembly, then this act and the amendment to the consti-
tution therein contained, shall constitute and be valid,
as a part of said constitution and form of government,
to all intents and purposes, any thing therein contain-
ed to the contrary notwithstanding; and provided, this
act shall be published at least three months before such
new election.
