CHAPTER 403.

CHAP. 405.

A supplement to the act entitled an act to incorporate the
Real Estate Bank of Baltimore.

Passed April 5,
1839.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the next election for Directors of the Real Es-
tate Bank of Baltimore, shall be held on the fourth
Monday in April, eighteen hundred and thirty-nine,
and annually thereafter on the same day.

CHAPTER 404.

Period for annual
election.

An act to confirm and make valid the proceedings of the
Sheriff of Carroll County.

Passed April 5,
1839.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That all acts and proceedings of the sheriff of Carroll
county, which took place between the first day of
April eighteen hundred and thirty-seven, and the first
day of March eighteen hundred and thirty-nine, shall
be as valid and effectual in law, to all intents and pur-
poses, as if the said sheriff had regularly bonded as
required by law.

CHAPTER 405.

Confirmation.

A supplement to an act, entitled an act to incorporate
Taney Town, in Carroll County.

Passed April 5,
1839.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act, the fol-
lowing, be, and is hereby declared to be the lines and
bounds of the Corporation of Taney Town, in lieu
of the liens designated in the act incorporating said
town; beginning at lot No. one, and running thence
south, thirty eight and one half degrees, east, thirty
eight perches, to a stone on the road leading to West-
