sheriff, for the last year, and the date of this obliga-
tion, as fully and completely as if this obligation bore
date anterior to his reception of such process, or his
receipt of money under colour of his office of sheriff.

CHAP. 4.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Clerk of Alle-
gany County Court be, and he is hereby authorised
and required to receive and record the bond referred
to in the proceeding section; provided the same be in
all respects in conformity with the provisions of the
existing law upon the subject of sheriffs' bonds, and the
provisions of this act.

An act, entitled, an act to make valid a deed from George
Fisher, of Carroll, late Frederick county, to John
Nankeville, of said county.

WHEREAS. it has been represented to this General
Assembly, that John Nankeville, of Carroll, (late
Frederick county) came into possession by purchase
of a certain house and lot in said county; and whereas,
at the time, the deed was made for said house and lot,
the said Nankeville was not a naturalised citizen of
the United States: Therefore,

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the deed made to John Nankeville, of Carroll,
(late Frederick county) by George Fisher, of said
county, and recorded among the land records of Frede-
rick county, for a certain house and lot in Carroll
(late Frederick) county, be and the same is hereby
confirmed and made valid as if the said John Nanke-
ville had been a naturalised citizen of the United
States.
