the said Jeremiah Rhodes contained, committed any
error.
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That if upon examination,
the judges of the said court shall find that any mistake
or error was committed by the said sheriff, in the said
description of the nicies and hounds of the said tract

of land, then the judges of the said court shall direct
the sheriff of the county aforesaid lor the time being to
convey the said tract of land by deed of conveyance to
the said Thomas Wood and his heirs, and which when
so conveyed, shall have all the effect to perfect and
carry the title of the said tract of land to the said
Thomas Wood and his heirs, in the same manner as
if the said George A. Smith, sheriff as aforesaid, had
in his sard deed of conveyance to the said Jeremiah
Rhodes in all respects given a correct and perfect de-
scription of said land, and had in all respects made and
executed a perfect deed for the same.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That the said judges on

application of any of the parties, in interest as afore-
said, shall require a notice to be put up at the court
house door of the said county, notifying the said Wil-
liam Tolson, or in the event of his death, his heirs to
be and appear in said court, on a day named, to show
cause why the application of the parties aforesaid
should not be granted; on which said day, the court
shall proceed to examine into the application as afore-
said, and take all necessary steps in the premises.

Public notice re-

quired.

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That all acts or parts
of acts, inconsistent with this act, are hereby re-
pealed.

CHAPTER 382.

Acts inconsistent

herewith repealed.

An act to make valid a deed from John S. Blake and
Mary his wife, Ann Hopper Blake, and Samuel Ring-
gold, to James Redman.

Passed April 8,
1839.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a deed heretofore made to wit: on
the tenth day of December, in the year eighteen hun-
dred and thirty-eight, by John S. Blake and Mary his
wife, Ann Hopper Blake, and Samuel Ringgold, and
