CHAP. 255.

ersox, a building committee appointed for the erection
of a house of worship, contiguous to said school house,
and to be by them applied towards defraying the ex-
penses of said house of worship: — Therefore,

and convey.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act, Jacob
Cramer, the surviving trustee aforesaid, he, and he is
hereby authorised and empowered, to sell and convey, '
by deed, a part of the said lot, or portion of ground, un-
to William Todd, Daniel Snook and Cornelius Barrick,
trustees of the Primary School, in district number

Proceeds disposed.

twenty-eight, and the proceeds arising from the said
sale, to be paid by the said trustees of the primary
school district aforesaid, into the hands of Daniel
Snook, Jacob Firor and Henry Bowersox, a building
committee appointed for the erection of a house of
worship, contiguous to said school house, and to be by
them applied towards defraying the expenses of erect-
ing said house of worship.

CHAPTER 255.

Passed Mar. 26,
1839.

An act to authorise the Commissioners of Cecil County,
to levy a sum of money to repair the Bridge over
Octoraro Creek in said county, near Rowlandville.

Levy $600 authori-

sed to build bridge.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That it; shall be. lawful for the commission-
ers of Cecil county, at their next annual levy, to levy
on the assessable property of said county, a sum of
money not exceeding six hundred dollars, for the pur-
pose of repairing the bridge over the Octoraro creek,
near Rowlandville.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That Samuel Rowland,
John Swisser and Joseph Roman, Senr., are hereby
appointed commissioners, and authorised to contract
for, and superintend the repair of said bridge.

Account required.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That when the repairs
aforesaid shall have been completed a true and faithful
account of all the cost and expences, shall he rendered
to the county commissioners by the aforesaid bridge
commissioners, or a majority of them, and then the
county commissioners are hereby authorised to pay
