have been duly recorded among the land records of
Chester county, aforesaid, but have not been recorded
in Cecil county aforesaid; and whereas, it appears to
have been the intention of the granters, to convey as
well that portion of the land which lies in Cecil coun-
ty, Maryland, as that which lies in Chester county,
Pennsylvania; — Therefore.

CHAP. 254.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the said papers, being dated the fifth day of Feb-
ruary, eighteen hundred and thirty-one; the fifth day
of October, eighteen hundred and thirty-three; and
the twenty-eighth day of November eighteen hundred
and thirty-six, and recorded as aforesaid, and pur-
porting to he deeds of conveyance, be and the same
is hereby made as good and valid, and shall have the
same force and effect in law, to all intents and pur-
poses, as if the same had been in all respects original-
ly acknowledged and recorded in strict conformity
with existing laws of Maryland, in such cases made
and provided.

Confirmation.

An act authorising Jacob Cramer to convey a part of a
certain lot, or portion of ground, situate at Utica, in
Frederick County.
|

WHEREAS, it is represented to this General Assem-
bly, by the petition of sundry citizens of Frederick
county, that Jacob Cramer is the only surviving trus-
tee named in a deed of conveyance from Adam Snook
to Simon Snook, Jacob Cramer and John Karn, dated
January the ninth, seventeen hundred and ninety-eight,
conveying a certain portion of ground for the purpose
of erecting thereon a school house; and whereas, the
said petitioners pray the passage of an act by the Le-
gislature, authorising the said Jacob Cramer, surviv-
ing trustee as aforesaid, to convey by deed, a part of
said lot, or portion of ground, to William Todd, Dan-
iel Snook and Cornelius Barrick, trustees of the Pri-
mary School, in district number twenty-eight, in said
county, and the proceeds to be by them paid into the
hands of Daniel Snook, Jacob Firor and Henry Bow-
