CHAP. 23.

Mortgage to em-

brace premises.

Sec. 8. And be it enacted. That the mortgage, the
bill and proceedings thereunder, in the rase of Battee
and Hurst, against John McNeill and Mesheck Frost,
in the court of chancery in which Bene S. Pigman was
appointed trustee to sell the mortgage premises there-
in mentioned, shall be taken and considered to embrace,
instead of lot number twenty eight, all that part of lot
lumber two on the plot of Frostburg, in Allegany coun-
ty, lying between a lot in said town and county, here-
toforesold to George Hoblitzell and Lownds, beginning
for the said part at Lownds corner of his house, now
standing near said part of ground, and running north
fifty-six degrees, west sixty-six feet to Hoblitzell's
line, thence south forty four degrees, west one hundred
and sixty-fire feet, thence south fifty-six degrees, east
sixty-six feet to a stone marked B, then by a straight
line to the beginning, containing a quarter of an acre
of ground, more or less, and the said decree shall have
the same effect, as if said part of lot number two had
been inserted in the said mortgage, instead of lot num-
ber twenty-eight.

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That the Register of the
Court of Chancery, shall at the request and cost of the
said Tobias Riley, his heirs or assigns, enter upon the
book of record of the proceedings, in the court of chan-
cery in the case mentioned in the third section of this
act, a note or memorandum in such manner, as upon
the inspection of the said record, the purpose of this
act may be known, and its object ascertained.

CHAPTER 22.

Passed Jan. 25,
1839.

An act for the establishment of a municipal jurisdiction
over a part of Anne Arundel County, and to alter and
change the Constitution of this State, as fur as may
be necessary to effect the same.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland. That after the confirmation of this act,
there shall be established in Anne Arundel County, a
district included within the following boundaries, to
wit: beginning for the same at the intersection of the
west shore of Deep Run with the southern shore of the
