CHAP. 202.

Sec. 6. And be it enacted, That in all cases where ap-
plication may be made by petition for the opening of new,
or altering, amending and straitening old roads, or for
the constructing, or repairing bridges in said county,

and said application shall be rejected by said board,
they shall endorse on said petition, such rejection and
the reasons on which such rejection are founded.

Acts in inconsistent
herewith repealed.
|
Sec. 7. And be it enacted, That all acts or parts of
acts, inconsistent with the provisions of this act, be,
and the same are hereby repealed, any law, custom or
usage, to the contrary notwithstanding.

An act authorizing the Commissioners of the Tax of
Carroll County, to levy a certain sum of money there-
in mentioned.
|

$20 for James
Baker.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Commissioners of the Tax, of Carroll coun-
ty, be, and they are hereby required to levy, annually,
upon the assessable property of said county, twenty
dollars, and pay the same in quarterly payments to
James Baker, for the support and maintainance of
Catharine Haynes, of said county, a county pensioner
