and whereas, the said widow in her petition has con-
sented that the land to which she is in any way entitled
may he so worked, and the nett proceeds thereof ap-
plied as assets to the payment of the debts of the de-
ceased: — Wherefore,

CHAP. 131.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That it shall and may be lawful for the ad-
mini'stratrix, and administrators, of the said Daniel
Clarke, with the consent of the securities in their ad-
ministration bond, which assent shall be in writing,
and filed in the Orphans' Court of Prince George's
county, to work with the personal estate, according to
their discretion, during the present year, any portion of
the real estate to which at the time of his death the
said Daniel Clarke was entitled, or to which his wi-
dow and administratrix, upon his death, became enti-

aforesaid period, and apply the nett proceeds to the
payment of the debts of the deceased; provided never-
theless, that it shall he the duty of the Orphan's Court

contained, shall interfere with, lessen, or impair the
responsibility of the securities of the said administra-
tors, or their bond as administrators.

contained, shall in any manner interfere with the
rights of any of the creditors of said estate, but any
part of said estate shall bo, and remain liable therefor
in the same manner as if this act had not been passed.
