CHAP. LXXXVI.

An ACT for the relief of Henry Waller, of Kent county.

II. AND BE IT ENACTED, That before the said John B. Howard, John Rumsey, John Weston,
James Weatherall and Jeremiah Foard, proceed to make sale of any ticket or tickets in the said lot-
tery, they shall give and execute a bond to the state of Maryland, in the penalty of five thousand
dollars, conditioned, that they will well and truly conduct the drawing of said lottery, and apply the
money arising therefrom, within six months after the drawing thereof, to the payment of the prizes
drawn therein to the adventurers to whom they shall be due, and the necessary expenses incurred
in the management thereof, and the residue to the repairing the said church, and purchasing the ad-
ditional glebe aforesaid.

III. AND BE IT ENACTED, That the said bond shall be lodged in the office of the clerk of Balti-
more county, to be there recorded, and upon such bond, or any office copy thereof, suit or suits may
be instituted for any breach. of non-compliance with the condition thereof.

CHAP. LXXXVIII.

Bond to be
lodged, &c.

An ACT for the relief and benefit of John Hebb, of Saint-Mary's
county.

Passed 20th of
January, 1808.

BE IT ENACTED, Hy the General Assembly of Maryland, That the judges of Saint-Mary's county court
be and they are hereby authorised and directed, to extend to John Hebb, of Saint-Mary's, the
benefit and relief of the act of assembly, passed at November session, eighteen hundred and five,
entitled, An act for the relief of sundry insolvent debtors, and the supplement thereto, passed at
November session, eighteen hundred and six, without compelling the said John Hebb to produce
any evidence of his having resided within the state of Maryland for the two years last previous to
his application for the benefit thereof, in the same manner as if he had actually resided within this
state agreeably to the provisions of the said act, and the supplement thereto,.
