Sec. 5. And be it enacted, That upon the Farmers
Bank of Maryland and its Branches, accepting and comply-
ing with the terms and conditions of this act, the faith of
this State is hereby pledged not to impose any further tax
or burthen upon them, during the continuance of their char-
ter under this act, excepting such equitable assessment as
may be levied upon incorporated banks throughout the
State by any future legislature.

branches, shall be subject to such restrictions in regard to
the issue of its bank notes, and the denominations thereof,
as are or may be prescribed by law, in relation to the issue

An act to allow the several collectors of taxes in Baltimore
County, herein mentioned further time to complete their
collections.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That William Frush, Joseph Walker, Elijah
Taylor, Sellman Cox, Peter W. Gibbons, Charles Jessop
and George W. Harryman, late collectors of taxes in Balti-
more county, be and they are hereby authorised and em-
powered to collect all taxes or balances of taxes due them as
collectors of tax, in the several districts for which they
were appointed as collectors of tax in said county, in the
same manner and with the same power and privileges
which they might have done, within the time limited by law,

before some justice of the peace for said county, that such
