No. 41.

Resolution in relation to suits of Delinquent Officers, &c.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of this State proceed without delay, to
make out and place in the hands of the Attorney General
or bis deputies, the accounts of all the officers who may
be indebted to this State, as appears by the statement of
the Treasurer made to this house and marked document
J.; and the said Attorney General and his deputies, are
hereby instructed in the most summary way to collect the
balances which may actually be due the State, and pay
the same into the Treasury—and
Resolved further, That said Treasurer direct the said
Attorney General or his deputies, to enlbrce with the ut-
most expedition the collection of all monies due this
State for which judgments have been obtained, or for
which suits have been brought and are now pending, or
which have been already placed in their hands, but upon
which suits have not yet been brought, and that the monies
when so collected be paid into the Treasury.

Resolution in favor of Andrew Slicer and John Quynn.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to Andrew Sli-
cer, messenger to the senate, sixty dollars for taking care
of the Senate Chamber and furniture during the recess of
the legislature, and pay also to John Quynn, sixty dollars
for taking care of the House of Delegates and furniture
during the recess of the legislature.
