RESOLUTIONS.

legates, have been appointed to execute the said resolu-
tions; and whereas it now appears that it will take a
much longer time than was anticipated—Therefore,
Be it resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That said committee may postpone so much of their
duty as requites to be performed at the commissioners
office in the city of Baltimore, until after the termination
of the present session of the legislature, and they are
heieby authorized and required to perform said duty, du-
ring the recess of the legislature, and make report thereof
to the Governor, to be communicated by him to the legis-
lature at its next session.
Resolved, that the Treasurer pay the members of the
committee the sum of four dollars, for each and every day
in which they shall be engaged in the discharge of their
duly, and two dollars for every twenty miles they shall
travel by the usual route in going to and returning from
Baltimore.

Resolution in favor of James Coulter.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore be, and he is hereby
authorized and required, to pay James Coulter, fifty dol-
lars out of any money unappropriated in the treasury for
services rendered to the house of delegates.

Resolution directing the Adjutant General to furnish Capt.
George Schley, with forty Knapsacks.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Adjutant General be, and and he is hereby directed,
to furnish to the order of Capt. George Schley, of the
Hagerstown Cadets fifty Knapsacks, by his giving satis-
tory security for their safe keeping and return; provided,
the same are in the armory.
