extracts from wills or deeds of manumission shall be made,
as by this act, provided, the said extract shall be full and
entire, so far as any thing, in such will or deed of manu-

chester county, to appoint annually a Constable for the
town of Vienna in said county, and to legalize the offi -

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That from and after the passage of this act,
the commissioners of the tax in and for Dorchester coun-
ty, be, and they are hereby authorized and directed, to
appoint annually a Constable for the town of Vienna, in.
said county, who shall reside in the said town, and who
shall be authorized to exercise all the functions of consta-
ble and to the same extent as constables resident of

cial acts of Samuel Webb, informally appointed constable by
the commissioners of the tax for Dorchester county, be,
and they are hereby made as legal and to the same extent

were appointed at the same term by the said commissioners
of the tax in perfect conformity to law.
