A supplement to the act entitled, an act to incorporate the town
of Frostburg in Allegany county.
|
Tax on dogs.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the commissioners of the town of Frostburg, shall
have full power and authority to lay an equal tax upon all
dogs being and kept within the corporate limits of said
town, which tax shall be collected and paid as all other
taxes are collected and paid in said town.

An act to incorporate the trustees of the Methodist Episco-
pal Church of New Windsor.
|
Incorporated.
|
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Andrew Nicodemus, David Cassel, Jere-
miah Bartholow, Dr. J. L. Warfield and Henry W. Dell of
Carroll county, and Thomas Devilbiss, Casper Devilbiss,
Daniel Danner and Francis A. Davis of Frederick county,
and their successors, be and they are hereby created and
declared to be a body politic and corporate by the name,
style and title of the trustees of the Methodist Episcopal
Church of New Windsor, and shall be capable in law to
sue and be sued, plead and be impleaded before any court of
law, judges or justice of this State.

Succession to
be kept up.
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the succession in said
corporation shall be kept up and maintained by election or
appointment of the quarterly meeting conference of the
Methodist Episcopal Church for the circuit to which the
said church of New Windsor now is or may hereafter be
attached, in such manner and for such periods as the said
quarterly meeting conference shall direct, and the said con-
ference shall have power to fill vacancies occassioned by
