Justices of the Peace, in and for the county and State
aforesaid, by the name of Wesley Weaver, and whereas
the said Charles Wesley Weaver has in virtue of the com-
mission aforesaid done and performed many official acts
which in consequence thereof may be null and void — there-
fore,
|
CHAP. 115.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That all and every official act or acts, heretofore done and
performed, or that hereafter may be done and performed by
said Weaver, under said commission aforesaid, shall be as
good and valid in law as they would be, had the said com-
mission had been issued to Charles Wesley Weaver, instead
of Wesley Weaver as aforesaid.

CHAPTER 114.

An act to authorize Thomas F. W, Vinson, lute Sheriff
and Collector of Montgomery county, to complete his
collections.
|
Passed Feb.
20, 1843.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act, that Thomas
F. W. Vinson, late sheriff and collector of Montgomery
county, be, and he is hereby empowered to collect all fees,
taxes and levies, in the same manner in which he was autho-

rized to do whilst he was in office, provided, that if any
person or persons, his or her or their representatives,
against whom any such fees or taxes may have been render-
ed, will make oath or affirmation before a justice of the
peace, that the same has been satisfied or paid, that this act
shall not extend to such cases, and provided also, that the
powers conferred by this act, shall not continue in force
longer than the first day of March eighteen hundred and
forty-five.
