A supplement to an act entitled, an act to authorize the ap-
pointment of Justices of the Peace in the City of Balti-
more, with limited jurisdiction, passed at December ses-
sion, eighteen hundred and twenty-Jive, chapter 189.

May appoint
seven Justices
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the
Senate, may appoint and commission seven persons residing
in the City of Baltimore to be styled in their commissions,
Justices of the Peace for Baltimore county, residing in the
City of Baltimore, and the persons so appointed when
qualified as required by law, may exercise all the powers,
authority and jurisdiction as provided by the act to which
this is a supplement.

CHAPTER 70.

An act relating to the approval of Trustee's Bonds and In-
junction Bonds.
|
Clerks may
approve bonds
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the several clerks of the county courts as courts of
equity, shall have power, and they are hereby authorized to
approve the bonds of trustees appointed under decrees of
their respective county courts as courts of equity, and in-
junction bonds to stay proceedings at law, provided, that
this act shall not be construed as divesting the powers over
such bonds now exercised by said courts, or the judges
thereof.

An act to change the name of Julianna Wootters to that of
Juliana Chambers.
|

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the name of Juliana Wootters of Queen Ann's coun-
ty be and is hereby changed and altered to the name of Ju-
liana Chambers, and it shall and may be lawful for the said
Julianna Wootters, at all times hereafter, to be called and
