CHAP. 63.

or any kind of vessel whatever, with a gun during the sea-
son for shooting ducks, the evidence of such fact, shall be
prima facie evidence, that such person is guilty of offend-
ing against the first section of this act.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That any person who shall
aid or abet, in any manner, by furnishing a boat, vessel or
craft of any kind whatever, or gun or ammunition to any
one, for the purpose of shooting ducks against the provi-
sions of this act, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor,
and upon conviction in the manner aforesaid shall be fined
at the discretion of the court.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That any person offending
against this act, may be prosecuted for the same, at any
time within five years after the perpetration of the offence,
and not afterwards.

An act for the relief of William Hance, Clerk of Calvert
County Court.

fees in the

riffs.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland.
That William Hance, clerk of Calvert county court, be,
and he is hereby authorized, to place the fees due him for
the year eighteen hundred and forty-two, in the hands of the
sheriffs of the several counties, any time between the pas-
sage of this act, and the first of May eighteen hundred and
forty-three, any act to the contrary notwithstanding, provi-

ded the sheriffs of said counties shall not he liable for said
fees before the tem h day of December then next ensuing.

An act to make public a Road therein mentioned.
|
Made public.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act, the private
road in Anne Arundel county, leading from the Annapolis
post road to Calvert county, through the lands of Henry C.
Drury of William, Charles E. Bevan, Robert Pindell and
Richard B. Darnall, until it intersects the public road lead-
ing from Henry C. Welch's to Tracey's landing; and
