An act requiring the Commissioners of Primary Schools of
Worcester county to divide the funds for School District
No. 27,
|

9, 1843.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the commissioners of primary schools, of
Worcester county, are hereby required to divide the school
fund for school district number 27, betwixt the public
school-house and cross-roads school-house, of said district,
agreeable to the number of children schooled at each of the
above described school-houses.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all acts heretofore pass-
ed which are inconsistent, or contrary to the provisions of
this act, be and the same are hereby repealed.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the division of said fund
shall take place from the date of this act.

CHAPTER 65.

An act to authorize the measuring of Cord-wood in the
Village of North East, and on the shores of North East
River in Cecil county.
|

1843.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Governor, with the advice and con-
sent of the Senate, shall be and is hereby authorized and
required to appoint one wood-corder for the village of north
east, and the different wood-landings on north east river;
and that said corder shall be governed by the same laws
with regard to his measurement, which govern the wood-
corders in the city of Baltimore, and that he shall be allow-
ed for each cord so measured, four cents per cord.
