RESOLUTIONS

1842

of William S. Green, for services rendered in execution of
the resolution of the general assembly passed at December
session eighteen hundred and twenty-one, No. 7, and pay
over to the said William S. Green, or his order, the sum of
two thousand four hundred and sixty-eight dollars and seven
cents, being the balance remaining in their hands in dis-
charge of his claim for completing said work.
Resolved That all proceedings on the judgment obtained
by the State of Maryland against said William S. Green,
and his securities in Anne Arundel County Court, be and
they are hereby suspended until the first day of March
eighteen hundred and forty-four; provided, that the said
William S. Green and his securities shall file in the office of
Anne Arundel County Court their assent in writing to this
resolution, on or before the first day of May next.

 

No. 60.

Resolution in favor of the Clerks.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore be and he is hereby
authorized, to pay John Nick Watkins, chief clerk of the
House of Delegates, and Joseph H. Nicholson, chief clerk
of the Senate, the sum of one hundred dollars each, and
to Peter Webb, assistant clerk of the House of Delegates,
and John N. Watkins, assistant clerk of the Senate, the
sum of one hundred dollars each, and to Edward W. Wyse,
Edward M. Wyse, Thomson Mason, Marcy Fountain and
Hyde R. Bowie, committee clerks of the House of Dele-
gates, Joseph N. Gordon, and Woolman J. Gibson, com-
mittee clerks of the Senate, the sum of fifty dollars each, as
a further compensation for their services during the present
session of the Legislature.

Resolution in favor of Captain David Emmart.

Resolved, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Adjutant General be directed to furnish to Captain Da-
vid Emmart, of the Patapsco Patriots fifty new Muskets
