itinerant charges which are allowed by this act to jurors,
and that the annual salary of the clerk to the commission-
ers shall be two hundred and fifty dollars.
SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the several judges,
clerks and bailiffs of elections in said county shall receive
per day three-fourths the amount now allowed by law.
SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That all acts or parts of acts
which are inconsistent with this act, be and the same are
hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 253.

An act to authorize the Trustees of Primary School num-
ber seventeen, in Queen Ann's County, to sell and convey
a portion of the School Lot therein mentioned.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That the trustees of Primary School number seven-
teen, situated in Queen Ann's county, in Queenstown, be and
they are hereby authorized and empowered to sell and con-
vey to any person or persons such part or parts of the lot of
land on which the school-house of said Primary School is
built, as in their judgment shall seem to be of no advantage
to said school, for such sum of money as they shall agree
for, and apply the proceeds of such sale to the enclosing
of said property, or to whatever improvement on said pro-
perty they may deem expedient.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That upon such sale being
made, and the purchase money thereof paid to the said
trustees, they are hereby authorized and empowered to
convey by deed executed under their hands and seals, and
duly acknowledged according to law, to the purchaser or
purchasers thereof, his, her or their heirs, in fee simple,
the part or parts of the said lot of land so sold by the said
trustees, and such deed shall be sufficient in law, to convey
absolutely a title in fee simple to such purchaser or purcha-
sers, his, her or their heirs, of the said land so conveyed
by the said deed.
