CHAP. 222.

he shall have and receive six and one fourth cents for each
weight or measure, and twelve and one half cents for each
scale-beam by him tried, branded, marked and stamped, to
be paid by the person for whom the services shall be ren-
dered.

Levy court
hot to appoint.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That from and after the first
Monday of April next, it shall not be lawful for the justices
of the levy court of said county to appoint or employ any
person or persons to act as crier or bailiff.

Repealed.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the act passed at De-
cember session, eighteen hundred and thirty three, chapter
one hundred and ninety-seven, requiring the levy court of
Queen Anne's county, to make out a list of the fees which
the civil officers of said county are entitled by law to re-
ceive, and to give the said list publicity, be and the same is
hereby repealed.

ceive $1 50.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the Crier of the Orphans'
Court hereafter, shall be entitled and receive the sum of one
dollar and fifty cents per day, instead of two dollars as
heretofore received.

An act for the benefit of the Children of John Cronmiller.

Authorised to
Sell, assign &.
convey, &c.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, John Cronmiller of the city of Baltimore, be
and he is hereby authorised to sell, assign and convey the
leasehold property which was assigned and conveyed to
him, in trust for the use and benefit of his children, after
the death of Thomas Cronmiller, their grand father, by
deed bearing date the fifth day of May, eighteen hundred
and thirty-two, and recorded among the land records of
Baltimore county court in Liber. A. J. number two hundred
and twenty-one, folio one hundred and eighty-seven, &c. in
order that the proceeds of such sale may be invested in the
purchase of a farm in Howard District in Anne Arundel
county, to he held in trust on the same terms and conditions,

Proviso.

as are prescribed and set forth in the aforesaid deed of trust;
provided, that such of the children of John Cronmiller as
nave attained to full age shall signify their assent to such
sale, by writing in the deed of assignment therefor.

File bond.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That before the said Cron-
miller shall make sale of the said leasehold property, he
shall file with the clerk of Baltimore county court, his bond
