convey general information concerning the various transac-
tions of the year.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the trustees of the alms
house shall furnish the said commissioners of the tax of the
county, with a general statement of all the disbursement's
and expenditures of said institution, so as to enable the com-
missioners of the tax to give a full statement of its receipts
and expenditures, at the time specified in this act.

CHAPTER 220.

 

An act to extend the time of Thomas W. De Coursey, former
Collector of Queen Anne's County, to complete his collec-
tions.

Passed March
2, 1843.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the time allowed to Thomas W. De Coursey, former
collector of Queen Anne's county to complete his collec-
tions, by the act of December session, eighteen hundred
rind forty-one, chapter two hundred and forty eight, be and
the same is hereby extended to the first day of June, in
the year eighteen hundred and forty-four.

CHAPTER 221.

 

An additional act relating to the Levy Court of Queen
Anne's County, and to repeal the acts of Assembly therein
mentioned.

1, 1843.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the act entitled, an act for the regulating
weights and measures in this state, passed at December
session eighteen hundred and twenty-five, chapter two hun-
dred and six, be and the same is hereby repealed, so far as
relates to Queen Anne's county.

Repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the present keeper of
the standard of weights and measures for said county, shall
deliver the said standard to the justices of the levy court of
said county to be kept and preserved in their office; and it
Shall be the duty of the clerk of said court upon applica-
tion, to try, correct, brand, mark and stamp the weights and
measures of any citizen of said county, for which service
