sion eighteen hundred and thirty-nine, chapter thirty-four,
surveyed two parcels of lands lying and being in said county,
called Slimmon's Experiment and Wilson's conclusion, at a
considerable expense, but before resurvey and final pro-
ceedings under the act of assembly aforesaid were had, the
act of assembly aforesaid was repealed, and whereas it ap-

pears reasonable that the said proceedings should be com-
pleted — therefore,
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the surveyor of said county be, and he is hereby au-
thorized, to complete the resurvey of the said lands, as ful-
ly and complete in all respects, as if the said act of assem-
bly had not been repealed, and such resurvey when made
and completed, shall be as valid and effectual in law as if the
act passed at December session eighteen hundred and forty
one, chapter three hundred and forty-three, had not been
passed.

An act for the relief of Samuel Dickinson, of Worcester
county.
|
Commission-
ers to levy.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the commissioners of Worcester county are hereby
authorized and empowered and required to levy upon the
assessable property of the said county, such sum as in their
judgment may be right and proper for the use of Samuel
Dickinson, which sum shall be paid by the collector of
said county to John Dickinson, senior, and by him so paid
out as to contribute to the support of the said Samuel Dick-

inson; provided, that this act shall not be construed to com-
pel the commissioners to levy any sum of money for the
purpose aforesaid, unless in their discretion they shall think
proper no to do.
