CHAPTER 104.

An act relating to the Reports of the School Commission-
ers of Caroline County, and for other purposes.

Repealed.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That so much of the sixteenth section of an act
passed at December session eighteen Hundred and thirty-
four, chapter two Hundred and twelve, as requires the regis-
ter of wills of Caroline county, to record the reports and
returns of the commissioners of the Free and charity school
fund of said county, to the orphans court, and all the reports
and certificates of the trustees of the located schools in said
county, and so much of the seventh section of the aforesaid
act as requires that the justices of the orphans court shall
annex all the reports of the district commissioners and trus-
tees of the located schools to their returns to the General
Assembly, be and the same are hereby repealed, but it shall
be the duty of the said register to preserve and file the same

Sec. 2. And be it enacted. That it shall be the duty of the
several boards of district commissioners, to return as direc-
ted by the seventh section of the act of eighteen hundred
and thirty-four, chapter two hundred and twelve, a full re-
port of their proceedings at the December session of the
orphans court, instead of at the June session, as heretofore
directed.

 

CHAPTER 105.

An act for the relief of Henry L. Harrison, formerly a
Sheriff of Calvert County.

Time extend-
ed

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Henry L. Harrison, formerly a sheriff of
Calvert county, be and he is hereby authorized to collect un-
til the first day of June, eighteen hundred and forty-three,
all fines, forfeitures, amercements, officers fees, or public
dues which were placed in his hands for collection, and all
legal fees made by him while sheriff, or that he was entitled
