county has a population of thirty-two thousand and sixty-
six souls, of which four thousand, three hundred and ninety-
six are slaves, making in federal numbers thirty thousand,
three hundred and seven; that Harford county has a popu-
lation of seventeen thousand, one hundred and twenty souls,
of which two thousand, six hundred and forty-three are
slaves, making in federal numbers sixteen thousand and six-
ty-two; that Montgomery county has a population of fifteen
thousand, four hundred and fifty-six souls, of which five
thousand, one hundred and thirty-live are slaves, making in
federal numbers thirteen thousand four hundred and two;
that Prince George's county has a population of nineteen
thousand live hundred and thirty-nine souls, of which ten
thousand six hundred and thirty-six are slaves, making in
federal numbers, fifteen thousand two hundred and eighty-
four; that Saint Mary's county has a population of thirteen

Charles county has a population of sixteen thousand and
twenty-three souls, of which nine thousand one hundred
and eighty-two are slaves, making in federal numbers,
twelve thousand three hundred and forty-nine; that Calvert
county has a population of nine thousand two hundred and
twenty-nine souls, of which four thousand one hundred and
seventy arc slaves, making in federal numbers seven thous-
and five hundred and sixty-one; that Anne Arundel county
has a population of twenty-nine thousand five hundred and
thirty-two souls, of which nine thousand eight hundred and
nineteen are slaves, making in federal numbers, twenty-five
thousand and six hundred and four; that Cecil county has a
population of seventeen thousand two hundred and thirty-
two souls, of which thirteen hundred and fifty-two are slaves,
making in federal numbers sixteen thousand six hundred and
ninety-one; that Kent county has a population of ten thous-
