No. 3.

Resolution directing the Armorer of the City of Frederick
to perform certain duties, &c.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the armorer at Frederick be directed and required, as a
part of the duties of his office, to keep the lot or parcel of
ground belonging to the State on which the Barracks at
Frederick are situated, in a proper and suitable condition
for military musters, parades, and so forth, and that he shall
on no account, nor at any time put any portion of said
ground under cultivation, except that part of the lot which
lies north of the western wing of the Barracks, and of the
breadth of the same, which he may fence in and cultivate
as a garden.

No. 4.

Resolution authorizing the Adjutant General to furnish Cap-
tain Lawrence J. Brengle, with fifty Knapsacks.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
Adjutant General be and he is hereby directed to furnish to
the order of Captain Lawrence J. Brengle, fifty knapsacks,
by his giving satisfactory security for their safe keeping and
return.

No. 5.

Resolution authorizing the Adjutant General to furnish Cap-
tain Richard Lilly, with Arms, &c.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Adjutant General of the State of Maryland, furnish to
Captain Richard Lilly, of the Independent Blues, of the
city of Baltimore, one Hundred muskets, cartouch boxes,
belts and bayonets each, with scabbards, to match, on con-
dition of the said Richard Lilly giving sufficient security
for the safe keeping and return of the same; and provided,
that the said Lilly return to the State of Maryland, to the
proper authorities the muskets they now have in use in said
company.
