No. 1.
Resolution authorizing the Adjutant General to furnish
Captain Samuel M. Semmes, with arms, &c.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Adjutant General furnish to Captain Samuel M. Semmes,
for the use of the Allegany Cavalry, thirty-two pair of
Pistols; provided, said Captain Semmes give bond to be ap-
proved by said Adjutant General, for the safe keeping and
return of the same.

No. 2.
Resolution authorizing the Treasurer of the Western Shore
to pay to the members of the Legislature and their offi-
cers, whatever sums that may be due to them.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the treasurer of the western shore, be and he is hereby au-
thorized to pay to* the several members of this General
Assembly, and the several officers thereof, or to their re-
spective orders, the several sums of money now due, or
that may become due to them respectively, and for which
they shall obtain certificates from the committee on claims
of the present House of Delegates.
