CHAP. 157.

Roe of Queen Anne's county, may and they are hereby au-
thorized to straighten that part of the public road leading
from Bullock town to Keene's coop roads, which passed
between and divided their farms, and the said William R.
Keene and Thomas Roe shall make the new part of the road
the same width as the old road, and shall put the same in
good order and condition, and when the said road shall be
straightened and put in good order and condition, they shall
signify the fact to the levy court of Queen Anne's county
and Caroline county respectively, and the said courts shall

each appoint one person to view and inspect the said road,
and report the condition thereof, and if the said road shall
be approved and received by the said courts, it shall thence-
forth form a part of the original road, and shall constitute a
part of the division line between the aforesaid counties, and
when the said road shall be approved and received by the
said courts, and not before, the said William R. Keene and
Thomas Roe may and they are hereby authorized to shut up
that part of the old road proposed to be straightened, and
all the expenses accruing in the premises shall he paid, one
half by the said William R. Keene, and the other half by
the said Thomas Roe.

United Stales, of the Independent Order of Odd Fel-
lows.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General. Assembly of
Maryland, That John A. Kennedy, Horn R. Kneass, An-
drew E. Warner, James L. Ridgley, J. D. Williamson,
Isaac Heffley, William Warren, John E. Chamberlin, Rich-
ard Marley, Howell Hopkins, N. B. Leidy, Alavson Cook,
Thaddeus Davids, Mark P. Taylor, Samuel Lucas, S. Van
Sickle, Robert Neilson, Thomas Wildey, William Bayley,
diaries W. Bradley, John C. McKeldon and Jacob Hull,
Junior, the present officers of, and representatives in the
Grand Lodge of the United States of the Independent Or-
der of Odd Fellows, and their successors, be and they arc
hereby declared to he a community, corporation and body
