CHAP. 20.

CHAPTER 18.

An act to authorise William B. Paca to build the Bridge
therein mentioned.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That William B. Paca, his heirs and assigns, are hereby au-
thorised to build at his own expense and use, a bridge over
that part of Wye river, called Back Wye, at a point from
the land of the said William B. Paca, to the lands of Ed-
ward T. Paca; provided, said bridge is so constructed that
a row boat may pass under the same.

CHAPTER 19.

Passed April 3,
1841.

An act far the benefit of Sylvester F. Gardiner, Thomas
H. Edelen, Thomas D. Berry and A. F. Bealle, Trustees
of the School District, number two, in the third election
district of Charles County.

Orphans' court
to draft in favor
of trustees dis-
trict school No.
2, for $200.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the justices of the orphans' court of Charles county
be, and are hereby authorised to draft in favor of the trus-
tees of the school district, number two, in the third election
district of said county, for the sum of two hundred dollars,
to be by said trustees applied to the payment of the salary
of the teacher by them employed in the year eighteen hun-
dred and forty, in the same manner as if the said trustees
had reported their proceedings to the said orphans'
court in the time required by law.

CHAPTER 20.

Passed April 2,
1841.

May divide into
two districts.

An act for the benefit of School District, number Eleven,
in Frederick County.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the school commissioners of Frederick county, be au-
thorised and required, if in their opinion it will promote
the purposes of education, to divide school district, number
ber eleven, in said county, into two districts, any law to
the contrary notwithstanding.
