Resolution in favor of Somerville Pinkney and J. J. Lloyd.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to Somerville
Pinkney and John J. Lloyd, out of any unappropriated mo-
ney in the treasury, the sum of two hundred and sixty-eight
dollars and twenty cents, being the amount paid by them as
trustees for the sale of the estates of Joseph N. Burch, se-
nior, in satisfaction of a claim appearing by the books of
the treasury to be due by George H. Lanham, sheriff of
Prince George's county, on whose official bond the said
Burch was a surety, and it now appearing that the debt had
been made under a writ of fieri facias issued against said
Lanham.

Resolution relative to furnishing the Clerk and Register of
Wills of Howard District, each with a copy of Dorsey's
Testamentary Laws.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the State Librarian be, and he is hereby directed to furnish
the clerk and register of wills of Howard District, in Anne
Arundel county, with one copy of Dorsey's Testamentary
Laws of Maryland, from the copies now remaining in the
library.

Preamble and Resolutions in relation to the repeal of the
Sub-Treasury Law.
WHEREAS, the policy of the general government in re-
lation to the currency and passage of the Sub-Treasury
law by Congress, has had a most injurious effect upon the
public finances, and has greatly aided in bringing about the
present embarrassments of the country — therefore, with a
view of getting rid of so pernicious a measure,
