CHAPTER 159.

An act for the benefit of Isaac C. Anderson, Collector of
Howard District, in Anne Arundel County.

Time extended
to make col-
lections.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Isaac C. Anderson, collector of Howard
District, be and he is hereby authorised to collect, until the
first day of December, eighteen hundred and forty-one, all
public dues which were placed in his hands for collection
during the year eighteen hundred and forty, and which re-
main uncollected, in the same manner as he could or might
have done within the time prescribed by law for the collec-
tion of the same.

sum demanded.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said Isaac C. Ander-
son, before he shall proceed to execute the body or pro-
perty of any person by the authority of this act, shall de-
liver, or cause to be delivered to such person or persons
chargeable with the same, at least thirty days previous to
the serving or levying of said execution, a particular ac-
count of the sum demanded of him, her or them, with an

affidavit annexed thereto, that neither he, nor any person
acting under him, as collector of Howard District, during
the year eighteen hundred and forty, hath received any part
thereof, or satisfaction for the same, to the best of his know-
ledge and belief.

CHAPTER 160.

An act to alter and change in part, the Division Line be-
tween Election Districts numbers six and seven, in Wash-
ington County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That from and after the passage of this act, the di-
vision line between election districts numbers six and se-
ven, in Washington county, shall be so far altered and
changed as to make the following described lines form a
part of the dividing line between said districts, to wit: be-
ginning at the hand-board near Jacob Snaveley's where the
Cavetown and Boonsboro' road crosses the Ohr's Gap road,
and running northward with said Cavetown road to where
the Blue Rock run crosses the same, then with said run to
