CHAPTER 142.
An act to authorise the Commissioners of Somerset Coun-
ty to provide a new Seal for the Clerk's Office of said
County.
|

To alter seal of
E. S. rail road
company.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the commissioners for Somerset county
be and they are hereby authorised to cause the seal which
formerly belonged to the Eastern Shore Rail Road Com-
pany, to be altered and converted into a seal for the office
of the clerk of Somerset county, and to defray the expenses
of such alteration as other county charges.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all the right, title and
interest of the State of Maryland in and to said seal be,
and the same hereby are released and transferred to the
commissioners tor Somerset county for the use of the said
office of the clerk of said county.

An act to make public a Road in Prince George's County.
|
|
|
Preamble.
|
WHEREAS, it is represented to the General Assembly
that the convenience of the neighborhood would be pro-
moted by declaring to be public the road over the land of
Thomas H. Clagett, from Farmington to the public road
from Piscataway, in Prince George's county, and the es-
tablishment of a wharf at Farmington; and said Thomas
H. Clagett having concurred in an application for that pur-
pose — therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the road over the land of Thomas H.
Clagett, in Prince George's county, running from Farming-
ton, on Piscataway creek, to the public road from Piscata-
way to Akakeek Church, be and the same is hereby de-
clared to be a public highway, and the levy court of said
county are hereby authorised and required to cause said
road to be kept in repair as other public roads in said
county.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That Richard L. Jenkins,
Richard J. Edelen and John H. Guynn, be and they are
hereby appointed commissioners to condemn and value a
piece of land on the said Piscataway Creek, at Farmington,
