CHAPTER 117.

An ad to allow the Executors of A. Beall, late Clerk of
Prince George's County Court, to collect the Fees which
were due to the said A. Beall.

CHAP. 119.

Passed Feb. 15,
1841.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the executors of Aquilla Beall, the late
clerk of Prince George's county court, be and they arc
hereby authorised and empowered to collect the fees which
were due to the said Aquilla Beall, as clerk, in the same
manner as the said Aquilla Beall, if alive, would have been
entitled to collect the same.

Authority given
to collect fees.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty of
the several sheriffs of this State to receive and collect said
fees in the same manner as if the same were placed in the
hands of said sheriffs by A. Beall, in his lifetime.


CHAPTER 118.

Duty of sheriffs.

An act to increase the Sheriffs Commissions for the col-
lection of Attorneys and Officers Fees in Allegany
County.

Passed Feb. 23,
1841.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the first day of May next, the sheriff

of Allegany county shall be entitled to receive eight per
cent, commission for the collection and paying over attor-
neys and officers fees.

CHAPTER 119.

8 per cent com-
mission allow-

ed.

An act to authorise Benjamin Silver, former Collector of
Taxes in the Second Election District in Harford Coun-
ty, further time to complete his Collections.

Passed Feb. 24,
1841.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Benjamin Silver, former collector of tax-
es for the second election district of Harford county, be.
and he is hereby authorised to collect until the first day of
June, eighteen hundred and forty-two, all taxes or public
dues which were placed in his hands for collection, and
