of Maryland or the United States of America or from any
other governmental agency for the street or harbor improve-
ments above defined, and it may expend such proceeds of
sale in part payment of the total cost of any such improve-
ment, where the balance of such cost is to be borne by the State
of Maryland or the United States of America.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That any and all
bonds issued pursuant to the authority of this Act, the
interest payable thereon and the income derived therefrom
in the hands of the holders thereof from time to time shall be,
and is hereby declared to be, exempt from State, county and
municipal taxation of every kind and nature whatsoever in
the State of Maryland.
SEC. 6. And be further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.

CHAPTER 410
(House Bill 647)
AN ACT to repeal Section 80A of Article 66 1/2 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Motor
Vehicles", sub-title "Administration — Registration — Titl-
ing", said section relating to the granting of permits, during
the war and for six months thereafter, to persons fourteen
and fifteen years of age who are engaged in agricultural pur-
suits to operate certain motor vehicles upon certain high-
ways.
WHEREAS, Section 80A was only intended to be effective dur-
ing the emergency caused by the recent war and for six months
thereafter; and
WHEREAS, the occasion for the enactment of this section is
no longer existent; therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 80A of Article 66 1/2 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title ''Motor Vehicles", sub-
title "Administration—Registration—Titling", be and it is
hereby repealed.
