shall be given as provided in Section 99 (b) hereof. Each such
budget shall show the estimated expenditures during the
forthcoming fiscal year, for each of the purposes for which
sa4d expenditures are authorized in Section 101 of this sub-
title and the estimated receipts to be collected from the tax
rate proposed to be set and from other sources, and shall
also contain a similar report of the receipts and expendi-
tures (including estimates for the balance of the fiscal year)
for the then current fiscal year. The Committee shall hear
all proper comments and suggestions pertaining to its pro-
posed budget offered at the meeting and shall fix the said
tax rate at not less than twenty cents ($0. 20) and not more
than fifty cents ($0. 50) on each One Hundred Dollars
($100. 00) of assessed valuation of real property within the
community to be certified by it to the County Council at
the rate fixed by the vote of a majority of the resident
registered qualified voters being owners of any interest, joint
or several, in real property in said community present at
said meeting.

(c) The tax levied in accordance with this section shall be
collected as all other county taxes and the amounts so collect-
ed shall be paid over by the County Director of Finance to
the Secretary-Treasurer of Chevy Chase—Section 4.

(d) The County Council shall also order and have paid
to the Secretary-Treasurer the proper share of the county
road tax, of receipts from the racing tax fund, of receipts
from the taxes on corporations and of all other taxes which
are or may become payable to incorporated cities, towns and
areas and/or special taxing areas.

101. (a) All funds which shall be received by Chevy Chase
—Section 4 as its share of the County road tax shall be
used by the Committee, exclusively for the maintenance and
repair on the County roads upon which Chevy Chase—Sec-
tion 4 abuts, and the County roads, and the streets, roads,
and lanes within Chevy Chase—Section 4 that may have been
dedicated to the public or to Montgomery County, whether
accepted by the County and/or Chevy Chase—Section 4 or
not.

(b) All other funds received by Chevy Chase—Section 4
accruing from the special levy aforesaid or otherwise, may be
used by the Committee, for the maintaining, repairing, and
lighting the streets, roads, alleys, sidewalks; for parking,
drainage, sanitation and other community maintenances and
improvements, including surface drainage and other sewer-
age, so far as the same is not provided for by the Washing-
