ma}^ be issued to certain licensees of the Racing Commis-
sion under certain conditions.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section IT (g) of Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Bev-
erages", sub-title "Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses', be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

(g) (Prince George's County. ) In Prince George's County
(1) the annual fee for such a license shall be five hundred
dollars ($500. 00); (2) such a license may be issued to any
Agricultural Association, Agricultural Fair Association or
any licensee to conduct racing under the provisions of Arti-
cle 78B where restaurant facilities are available or to the
duly authorized concessionaries of any such association or
licensee for a limited period of time upon payment of a license
fee of five dollars ($5. 00) per day for the period of such
license.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety, and
having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-
fifths of all of the members elected to each of the two Houses
of the General Assembly of Maryland, the same shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

(House Bill 444)
AN ACT to repeal Sections 96 to 103 inclusive of the Mont-
gomery County Code (1947 Edition), being Article 16 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Montgomery
County", sub-title "Chevy Chase—Section 4" and amend-
ments thereto and to enact 11 sections to be known as Sec-
tions 96 to 106 inclusive to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 95; to incorporate Chevy Chase—Section 4 and pro-
vide for the tax levy therefor.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
