receive the sum of Thirteen Dollars and Fifty Cents ($13. 50)
and each of the other Judges shall each receive the sum of
Eleven Dollars ($11. 00) for every day's attendance upon the
session of said Court. Each of the Judges of the Orphans'
Court for St. Mary's County shall receive Fifteen Dollars
($15. 00) for every day's attendance upon the sessions of said
Court. Each of the Judges of the Orphans' Court for Mont-
gomery County shall receive the sum of Eighteen Dollars
($18. 00) for every day's attendance upon the sessions of said
Court, not to exceed $2, 500 in any year. Each of the Judges
of the Orphans' Court for Allegany County shall receive the
sum of Twelve Dollars -($12. 00) for every day's attendance
upon the sessions of said Court. Each of the Judges of the
Orphans' Court for Baltimore City and for Prince George's
County shall receive the sum of Eighteen Dollars ($18. 00)
for every day's attendance upon the sessions of said Court.
The sessions of said Orphans' Court of Baltimore City
shall continue from 11 A. M. to 3 P. M., if necessary for the
transaction of business of the court.
No mileage shall be allowed to any of the Judges of the
Orphans' Courts for attending the sessions of said Court,
except in Charles^ Garrett and Somerset Counties.
SEC.. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
588 of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1943 Edition), title "Prince George's County",
sub-title "Fairmount Heights", as amended by Chapter 329
of the Acts of 1945, relating to municipal taxes of Fair-
mount Heights.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted "by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 588 of Article 17 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1943 Edition), title "Prince George's
County", sub-title "Fairmount Heights", as amended by Chap-
ter 329 of the Acts of 1945, be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
588. (1) The Mayor and Common Council shall have power
to levy, on or before the first Monday of June in each year,
