(House Bill 96)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 278-280 of Article 1 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Allegany County", sub-title "Grade Crossings", said sec-
tions relating to the building of a subway crossing under
the tracks of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad at the inter-
section of Virginia Avenue in the City of Cumberland.

WHEREAS, the provisions of these sections are no longer
necessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 278-280 of Article 1 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Allegany
County", sub-title "Grade Crossings", be and they are hereby
repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.

(House Bill 105)

AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Anne
Arundel County to take over and maintain North Avenue,
Northwest, from Light Street Road for a distance of ap-
proximately 175 feet to the properties of Mr. Raymond T.
Moreland and Mrs. Pauline Utz, in the Fifth District of
said County, and the street bed of the proposed extension
of Severnway in Pines On The Severn, in the Third Elec-
tion District of said County.

WHEREAS,, the State law provides that all County roads
must be at least 30 feet wide; and

WHEREAS, the street bed of the proposed extension of
Severnway in Pines On The Severn is less than 30 feet wide
but is to be used as a public highway; and
