CHAPTER 65
(Senate Bill 107)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 269-291 of Article 21 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Talbot County, " sub-title "Justices of the Peace
and Constables, " said sections relating to justices of the
peace and constables in Talbot County.

WHEREAS, Sections 93-114 of Article 52 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition) created the Trial
Magistrates System and has superseded the provisions of
the above sections, thereby making them unnecessary;
therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 269-291 of Article 21 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Talbot
County, " sub-title "Justices of the Peace and Constables, "
be and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1949.

Approved March 4, 1949.

CHAPTER 66
(Senate Bill 108)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 320-322 of Article 21 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Talbot County, " sub-title "Livery Stables, " said
sections relating to the keeping of livery stables or cer-
tain animals in Talbot County.

WHEREAS, the provisions of these sections seem to^be
amply covered by general State law, thereby rendering
them unnecessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 320-322 of Article 21 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Talbot
County, " sub-title "Livery Stables, " be and they are hereby
repealed.
