CHAPTER 57
(Senate Bill 89)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 116-121 of Article 11 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Frederick County, " subtitle "County Commission-
ers, " sub-heading "Franchise Tax, " said sections relating
to the disposition of the franchise tax on savings institu-
tions in Frederick County.

WHEREAS, there are no longer any savings institutions in
Frederick County, thereby making these sections unneces-
sary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 116-121 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick County, "
sub-title "County Commissioners, " sub-heading "Franchise
Tax, " be and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1949.

CHAPTER 58
(Senate Bill 90)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 707-710 of Article 11 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Frederick County, " subtitle "Roads, " said sections
relating to the construction of wire fences along the
public highways of Frederick County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted "by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 707-710 of Article 11 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick
County, " sub-title "Roads, " be and they are hereby
repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1949.
