the salary of the Crier of the Circuit Court of Frederick
County.

WHEREAS, Section 11 of Article 36 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), specifies the amount
of salary to be paid to the criers in the several circuit
courts, thereby making unnecessary Section 141 of Article
11 of the Code of Public Local Laws; now therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 141 of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick Coun-
ty, " sub-title "Crier, " as said section was amended by
Chapter 145 of 1933, be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1949.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 74-83 of Article 11 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Frederick County, " sub-title "Circuit Court, " sub-head-
ing "Speedy Judgment Act, " said sections comprising
the Speedy Judgment Act for Frederick County.

WHEREAS, the Court of Appeals of Maryland has re-
cently promulgated a set of rules covering the substance
of the Speedy Judgment Act for Frederick County, thus
making obsolete these Sections 74-83 of Article 11 of the
Code of Public Local Laws; now therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 74-83 of Article 11 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick
County, " sub-title "Circuit Court, " sub-heading "Speedy
Judgment Act, " be and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1949.
