CHAPTER 172
(House Bill 326)

AN ACT to repeal Section 917 of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland and Baltimore City Char-
ter (1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Police
Examiners", relating to the possession, carrying, etc. of
concealed weapons.

WHEREAS, Section 40 of Article 27 of the Annotated Code,
(1939 Edition), fully covers the subject matter of this sec-
tion; now therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 917 of Article 4 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland and Baltimore City Charter (1938
Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Police Examiners",
be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be> it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.

Approved March 31, 1949.

CHAPTER 173

(House Bill 327)

AN ACT to repeal Section 927 of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland and Baltimore City Char-
ter (1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City",, sub-title "Pa-
trol Wagons", said section authorizing the Police Com-
missioner to construct and maintain a telephone alarm
and patrol wagon service out of the Special Fund.

WHEREAS, the provisions of this section are no longer
applicable; now therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 927 of Article 4 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland and Baltimore City Charter (1938
Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Patrol Wagons",
be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.

Approved March 31, 1949.
