teer Fire Department, Inc., (4) Tuxedo-Cheverly Volunteer
Fire Company, Inc.

(f) In the 9th Election District the proceeds of said tax
shall be paid by the County Commissioners every six months
to the Treasurer of the Clinton Volunteer Fire Department,
Inc.

(g) In the 21st Election District the proceeds of said tax
shall be divided and paid by the County Commissioners
every six months in equal shares to the respective Treasurers
of (1) Berwyn Heights Volunteer Fire Department, (2)
Branchville Volunteer Fire Company, Inc., (3) College Park
Volunteer Fire Department, Inc.

(h) In the 1st Election District the proceeds of said tax
shall be paid by the County Commissioners semi-annually
to the Beltsville Volunteer Fire Department, Inc.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That before any tax
shall be levied under the provisions of this Act, the question
of such levy shall first be submitted to the legally qualified
voters of the 2nd, 9th, 21st and 1st Election Districts of
Prince George's County at the next general election to be
held in November, 1950. There shall be printed on the ballot
to be used at said election the title of this Act and under-
neath said title, on separate lines, a square or box to the
right of and opposite the words "For Fire Tax", and a cor-
responding square or box to the right of and opposite the
words "Against Fire Tax", so that the voters shall be able
to designate by a crossmark in the proper square or box his
or her decision for or against said fire tax. If a majority
of the votes cast in any of said election districts shall be
"For Fire Tax", then said tax shall be levied and paid over
in accordance with the provisions of this Act, but if a major-
ity of the votes cast shall be "Against Fire Tax", then this
Act shall be of no effect and shall be null and void in that
particular election district.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.
