To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:

I, BERTRAM L. BOONE, II, SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE
OF MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section
203 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947
Supplement), DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at the Referendum
election held in Calvert County, in this State, an Act known
as Chapter 13 of the Special Session of the General Assembly
of 1948, was submitted to the voters of Calvert County June
28, 1948, for their adoption or rejection, under the provisions
thereof, said Act being:

"An Act for the licensing of coin-operated mechanical or
electrical amusement devices or machines in Calvert
County. "

AND i DO CERTIFY,, That the Special Election was duly held
and the following votes were cast:

For Licensing Certain Against Licensing Certain

Amusement Devices Amusement Devices.

1, 726 986

A majority of the votes being cast in favor of the adoption
of said Chapter 13 of the Acts of the Special Session of 1948,
the said Act has been ratified.
