To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:
I, BERTRAM L. BOONE, II, SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE
OF MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section
203 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947
Supplement), DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at the General Election
held in this State on Tuesday, November 2, 1948, an Act
known as Chapter 620 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of 1947, was submitted to the voters of Harford County, Mary-
land, for their adoption or rejection under the provisions
thereof, said Act being:
"An Act to repeal Section 421H of Article 13 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, authorizing the sale
of beer and wines within certain hours on Sundays in
Harford County, a special Sunday license to be issued
by the Liquor Control Board of Harford County, "
AND i DO CERTIFY, That at said election 3, 570 votes were
cast in favor of the adoption of Chapter 620 of the Acts of
1947, and 6, 864 votes were cast against the adoption of said
Act, and a majority being cast against the adoption of the
said referred law, it has therefore failed of ratification.
