To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:

I, BERTRAM L. BOONE, II, SECRETARY OF STATE, OF THE STATE
OF MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section
203 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947
Supplement), DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at a special election
held in the City of Crisfield on June 17, 1947, an Act known as
Chapter 360 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1947,
was submitted to the voters of Crisfield for their adoption or
rejection under the provisions thereof, said Act being:

"An Act authorizing the Mayor and Council to impose and
collect water rents, sewer rents and installation charges
and making said charges liens on property served. "

AND i DO CERTIFY, that at said election 188 votes were cast in
favor of the adoption of Chapter 360 of -the Session of 1947,
and 12 votes were cast against the adoption of said Act; a
majority being cast in favor of the adoption of the said
referred law, it has therefore been ratified by the voters of
the City of Crisfield.
