To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:
I, BERTRAM L. BOONE, II., SECRETARY OF STATE, OF THE
STATE OF MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in
Section 203 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1947 Supplement), DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at an election
held in the Town of Thurmont, on the 28th day of April, 1947,
an Act known as Chapter 294 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1947, was submitted to the voters of Thurmont
for their adoption or rejection under the provisions thereof,
said Act being:
An Act to authorize the Commissioners of Thurmont to
transfer title of the Town Hall and Engine House
to the Guardian Hose Co., Inc., of Thurmont.
AND i DO CERTIFY, That at said election 139 votes were cast
in favor of the adoption of Chapter 294 of the Session of
1947, and 4 votes were cast against the adoption of said
Act; a majority being cast in favor of the adoption of the
said referred law, it has, therefore, been ratified by the voters
of the Town of Thurmont.
